Founder David Boyd is a registered physiotherapist and a registered Chinese medicine practitioner, so your care can draw on hands-on physiotherapy, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, and a physio-led recovery centre — all in one place.
Our physiotherapy is evidence-based and goal-focused. We assess the whole movement system, not just the sore spot, and build a clear plan that pairs hands-on treatment with the active rehabilitation that creates lasting change. Where it helps, we add acupuncture, dry needling or cupping, and our recovery room — ice baths, infrared sauna and red light therapy — to manage load and support your recovery between sessions.
Unlike a self-serve bathhouse, every recovery protocol here is overseen by a physiotherapist and built around your goals. That physio-led approach makes PhysMed a natural fit for post-surgical rehabilitation, stubborn tendon and joint pain, and anyone who wants to rely less on medication and take their health into their own hands.
